Lee Textiles at the Barnaby Festival Macclesfield
14
– 29th June 2014
A
Cut for Silk Town
New work inspired by the transport links
Macclesfield developed during the Industrial revolution, specifically the
arrival of the canal.
Inspired by the history of this waterway
cutting through the landscape to link Macclesfield with the wider world &
other trade routes. Printed onto sheer, translucent & opaque fabrics to
create figurative & abstract landscapes.
Work will be on show in the windows of
Plums Kitchen for the duration of the festival.
Please join me for the festival launch night
Friday 13th June
There is a Town Open Reception Event (RSVP) (flyer attached)
